17-Year-Old Arrested in Carroll County Double Homicide
A Georgia teenager, Sarah Patrick, is facing severe legal consequences after allegedly shooting and killing her mother, Kristin Brock, and her stepfather, James Brock. The tragic incident occurred in Carroll County, where authorities have released chilling details surrounding the case.
On February 20, 2025, deputies from the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office discovered the bodies of 41-year-old Kristin and 45-year-old James Brock in their home on Carrollton Tyus Road. Both victims were reportedly shot multiple times. At the time, Sarah’s 6-year-old sister was also in the home and is said to have found the bodies before informing Sarah, who then called 911.
The Tragic Discovery and Investigation
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Sarah in the house. Carroll County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, Ashley Hulsey, spoke at a press conference, describing the youngest child as “probably the saddest victim in all this.” Hulsey noted that the little girl was the one who discovered the bodies and had to endure the traumatic experience of alerting Sarah to the tragedy.
Family members revealed that James had a history of health problems, including undergoing multiple heart surgeries and possibly awaiting a heart transplant at the time of his death.
