‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ Star Jennie Garth, 53, Poses with Daughter Fiona, 18, for a Photoshoot in Matching Blue Dresses

From vintage dresses to heartfelt advice, Jennie Garth and daughter Fiona Facinelli celebrated family, fashion, and nostalgia in a stunning new photoshoot.

Jennie Garth appeared alongside her daughter, Fiona Facinelli, in People’s World’s Most Beautiful 2025 issue. The mother-daughter duo opened up about the lessons they have learned from each other, cherished mementos the actress has passed down, and their close-knit bond. However, all eyes were on how strikingly similar Fiona looks to her famous mom.

In the heartwarming photoshoot, Jennie, 53, wore a flowing pale blue dress with a lace bodice, paired with dark sneakers for a relaxed yet stylish touch.

Fiona, 18, mirrored her mother’s look in a vibrant royal blue dress adorned with subtle embellishments, completing her outfit with brown boots that nodded to her mother’s iconic “Beverly Hills, 90210” days.

The resemblance between the two left fans stunned, with social media quickly lighting up with reactions. “Wow! She looks like a copy and paste,” one commenter wrote, capturing the overwhelming sentiment. Another chimed in, “Wow she is her mother when she was young.”

Another netizen noted, “Looks exactly like her mom!” while another added, “The spitting image of her mom.” Other fans called Fiona Jennie’s “twin,” saying they looked “identical.”

However, others thought the 18-year-old was her father’s mini-me. “Moms blonde hair, but looks like Dad,” one fan wrote. Another shared, “Looks like dad!”

Adding to the sentimental nature of the shoot, Fiona wore a meaningful piece from her mother’s past. She posed in the same vintage cobalt-blue dress Jennie famously wore during season 10 of “Beverly Hills, 90210,” along with the brown cowboy boots her mom sported while playing the iconic Kelly Taylor.

In turn, the famous actress borrowed Fiona’s favorite Adidas sneakers. She also revealed that their family often swaps clothing, joking, “None of our clothes are in the right closets because everybody’s swapping them around with all of the girls in our house.”

A “minimalist,” Jennie revealed that while she didn’t save many items from her past, she held onto two pairs of cowboy boots from her “Beverly Hills, 90210” days and a couple of wedding dresses to pass down to her daughters, including Luca and Lola.

While she was yet to see her 18-year-old in a wedding dressing, the sight of Fiona in her famous mom’s clothes from the hit series did make the actress emotional. “It’s like being in a time machine and looking in the mirror,” Jennie said, admitting it brought back a flood of happy memories.

During the shoot, the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star even told Fiona, “I can’t believe you look so pretty,” to which Fiona sweetly responded, “Anything I can do to make me look more like you, I’ll try.”

Beyond the sentimentality of the photoshoot, Jennie and Fiona also took a moment to reflect on the deeper bond they share. Opening up about their relationship, the mother-daughter duo spoke candidly about the valuable lessons they have learned from one another over the years.

“I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned so far being your mom is to trust you and to not project my experience that I was having at her age onto her, and letting her be her own person,” Jennie explained.

“She’s got to figure some things out on her own, and it’s really hard to step back, but every time I step back, I see this beautiful young woman in front of me, and I’m just so proud of her and so excited for her,” the actress added.

Fiona, in turn, credited her mom for instilling strength and resilience in her from a young age. “I think the biggest piece of advice that I’ve gotten from my mom is probably just, she always told me, from when I was really little, to always be strong,” Fiona said.

“Throughout life, whenever I’m having an issue or a problem, she says, ‘Lead with your strength and lead with choosing yourself.’ […] Having strength in yourself, knowing who you are, and putting your best self forward,” the teenager continued.

Their heartfelt conversation highlighted the close bond between Jennie and Fiona — but the former “Beverly Hills, 90210” star has long expressed pride in all three of her daughters. In a 2024 interview, the actress reflected on how quickly Luca, Lola, and Fiona have grown into young women.

“Oh my gosh, the truest thing has never been said, ‘They grow up so fast,'” Jennie shared. “I never believed it when people said it about me, but now that I’m saying it about my daughters, it’s terrifying because their world is moving at lightning speed.”

She spoke candidly about the commitment motherhood demanded, explaining that she dedicated herself fully to raising her girls — whether they needed her, wanted her, or even thought they didn’t.

“Watching them come through on the other side and seeing them grow up into these women that I’m proud to say that I raised, and I can see all my hard work coming into who they are in their character. It really makes me proud,” she said.

While Jennie continues to celebrate her role as a mother, her career beginnings on “Beverly Hills, 90210” still hold a special place in her heart. Reflecting on her time with the beloved cast, the actress shared how much she values the chance to reconnect with her former co-stars at fan conventions — even though the events can be exhausting.

“We love it as a cast to get to see each other and spend time together. That’s a great gift also,” she said. The actress also touched on how interacting with fans reignites her own passion. Hearing women her age recall the iconic “Beverly Hills, 90210” moment where her character chose herself over Brandon and Dylan has stayed with her.

“That was mind-blowing to me because I didn’t know at that age I could choose myself,” she reflected. “Your character showed you can step out on your own and be strong and empowered.” That powerful moment even helped inspire her new brand, I Choose Me, which centers around strength and self-worth — values that continue to resonate with her.

Looking back, Jennie said she feels grateful to have experienced the height of “Beverly Hills, 90210″‘s fame without the pressures of social media. “It was huge in the 1990s without social media,” she said.

“There was something so special about watching the show and not knowing anything about us really. Being able to really invest into the show and storylines rather than invest into us as people. I think that was a gift,” the star added.

Today, Jennie Garth continues to inspire — whether through her lasting impact on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” her unbreakable bond with her daughters, or her message of strength and self-worth.
