Donald Trump’s Thoughts on Joe Biden’s Presidency After Former President’s Cancer Diagnosis Reveal

After expressing sympathy and showing support for Joe Biden after news about his cancer diagnosis broke, Donald Trump shared some strong sentiments about Biden’s time as president.

On May 20, 2025, President of the United States (POTUS) Donald Trump penned a lengthy message on Truth Social. He criticized what went on during his predecessor’s presidency, blaming the people who he claims knew about former POTUS Joe Biden’s supposed cognitive problems. This comes after Biden broke his silence on his cancer diagnosis.

In his fiery Truth Social post, Trump was steadfast as he tore into what he described as the deliberate sabotage of the United States under Biden’s leadership.

He claimed that the Biden the public once knew would never have endorsed open borders. Trump accused unnamed individuals of manipulating the presidency through what he referred to as the “Autopen” — a reference suggesting Biden was not fully in control of executive decisions.

The president asserted that those around Biden, aware of his alleged cognitive decline, effectively hijacked the presidency and opened the nation’s borders to “criminals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes.”

Calling the situation “TREASON at the Highest Level,” Trump did not hold back, labeling these alleged orchestrators as “Treasonous Thugs.” He also expressed that they should face serious punishment, and insisted that they had placed the country in “Great Danger.”

He credited his own return to leadership as a crucial turning point, saying these people “wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn’t, because I came along.” “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” concluded the POTUS.

Adding to the controversy, Trump recently addressed Biden’s cancer diagnosis in remarks delivered from the White House. While his tone initially struck a chord of sympathy, his statement quickly veered into a realm of confusion and veiled criticism.

“It’s very sad, actually,” Trump began, before questioning the timing of the public disclosure. He erroneously referred to Biden’s illness as “stage 9 cancer” — a non-existent classification in medical practice — implying that the disease had advanced to a dire and long-ignored point.

“To get to stage 9, that’s a long time,” he said, casting doubt not only on Biden’s transparency but also on the credibility of his medical team. Without directly naming them, Trump alluded to the doctor who had previously vouched for Biden’s cognitive fitness, drawing a pointed connection between the former president’s physical health and mental acuity.

The slip of terminology, while factually inaccurate, underscored Trump’s ongoing efforts to challenge Biden’s capability and the narrative surrounding his leadership.

What makes Trump’s recent rhetoric even more striking is how sharply it contrasts with the message he shared just days earlier. On May 18, shortly after news of Biden’s cancer diagnosis broke, Trump issued a rare note of compassion on Truth Social.

“Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis,” he wrote, extending “warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family,” and offering hope for “a fast and successful recovery.”

As the political commentary continues to swirl, the gravity of Biden’s health condition remains at the heart of it all. According to a statement released by his personal office, the former president has been diagnosed with an “aggressive form” of prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones.

The diagnosis followed a recent medical evaluation prompted by escalating urinary symptoms and the discovery of a prostate nodule. Medical experts categorized the illness with a Gleason score of 9, signifying a high-grade and fast-moving cancer.

Despite its severity, the cancer is reportedly hormone-sensitive, which opens the door to treatment strategies that could help manage the disease effectively. Biden, who is 82, is said to be carefully considering his next steps alongside his physicians and with the support of his family.

As he navigates this deeply personal health battle, the public eye remains fixed on the unfolding intersection of his medical journey and the political landscape he helped shape.

The diagnosis reveal comes after Joe Biden broke his silence about his cancer via a social media post he shared on May 19.

He posted a photo of himself and his wife, along with a short and heartfelt message, which prompted netizens to react swiftly, sending him prayers and well wishes.

In the image, the couple sits closely together in a warmly lit room, both donning soft-toned attire. The Former First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) gently cradles their cat, who appears calm yet alert, nestled safely in her arms.

Their expressions are gentle, yet beneath their smiles lies a quiet intensity. The setting, though understated, lends a sense of comfort and closeness — cream-colored Roman shades, the couch they sat on, and a white lamp.

This isn’t just any ordinary post. It is accompanied by a deeply personal message from Biden that struck a chord with many across the country.

He reflected on the all-too-common experience of cancer — a disease that has, in one way or another, touched nearly every household. His words acknowledged the pain and resilience that come hand-in-hand with such a battle.

Biden also spoke about the strength found in life’s most fragile moments and expressed gratitude for the unwavering support that he and his wife have received during this difficult time.

Upon seeing this post, netizens wasted no time in flocking to the comment sections with reactions. “Prayers for you always but especially now. Stay strong sir [sic],” penned a Facebooker, while another expressed, “What a wonderful, unselfish message! You are both so special! May you be blessed with many more years together!”

A particularly emotional commenter opened up about their own personal experience with a family member who had prostate cancer.

This netizen highlighted the pain and suffering both the patient and their loved ones went through. Others continued to shower the former president with love, prayers, support, and encouraging words.
