Reality Star Monica Sandoval Saavedra Killed at 35, Leaving Two Sons Behind โ€“ Details

In addition to disclosing details about Monica Sandoval Saavedra’s demise, her loved ones have created a GoFundMe, and her sister has dedicated heartfelt online tributes in her honor.

A recent tragic accident resulted in the death of reality star Monica Sandoval Saavedra, who appeared in “Joseline’s Cabaret Texas.” Zeus Network, the streaming service responsible for the show, confirmed the sad news, as well as the deceased’s co-star and younger sister. Saavedra was only 35 years old at the time of her passing and leaves behind two sons, one of whom recently graduated.

In a striking tribute shared on Instagram, Zeus Network honored Saavedra with a celestial-themed memorial image, capturing her beaming in an elegant black gown and lace gloves as she held a feathered fan.

Set against a heavenly backdrop of soft clouds and ethereal light, the photo is emblazoned with the words “Monica Time” and her affectionate nickname, “Spicy Monii.” Accompanying the visual, the caption conveys the streaming platform’s grief and admiration for Saavedra, who brought an “unforgettable energy” to the cabaret show.

“Your energy, beauty, and presence will never be forgotten,” the post reads in part. It closes with a poignant farewell, “Rest easy, Queen. ๐Ÿ’.”

Amid the stream of condolences came a heartbreaking post from one of Saavedra’s fellow cast members, who shared a photo of the star standing outdoors beside a quiet, leaf-strewn street. Dressed in a navy zip-up jacket and layered silver chains, Saavedra gazed confidently into the camera, her makeup perfectly done and her dark hair flowing freely.

In the caption, the co-star confirmed the devastating circumstances behind the tragedy, revealing, “Our Cabaret Sister Spicy Moni @gorditaybuena passed away June 14th, 2025 in a DUI related car accident๐Ÿฅบ (the driver survived) [sic].”

She went on to explain that Saavedra’s younger sister had personally reached out, asking for support as the family faces the unimaginable. “We love you Moni!! You were such a good spirted [sic] & kind person. I’m sorry this happened to you ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ #cabaretwasted 4Everr๐Ÿ˜˜ Love youu๐Ÿคž๐Ÿฝ.”

Overwhelmed with grief, Saavedra’s sister also took to Instagram to express the depth of her heartbreak. In the poignant post she shared, two hands clutch a bouquet of fresh daisies and chrysanthemums, and a portrait of the late reality star against the backdrop of a roadside memorial. Several mourners can be seen in the distance, gathered beneath tall trees.

“It feels like I’m living a nightmare I’m never waking up from. My heart is shattered in [sic] a thousand pieces,” she expressed.

“I lost my best friend, my sister my everything. You didn’t deserve this. You had such a huge and loving heart. Every room you walked in you lit up the room [sic],” the message continues.

The emotional tribute captured not only a sister’s devastation, but the magnitude of love Saavedra inspired in those around her.

“I miss you so […] much it hurts. I still can’t believe you’re gone,” the bereaved sister added. She closed the post by sharing a GoFundMe link, calling on the public to help amplify her sister’s story and support their family.

Saavedra’s sibling shared another Instagram dedication, where she, again, poured out her grief in both words and images. The photos make up a collection of cherished memories that capture Saavedra’s essence through the years.

From smiling beside her two sons at a celebration surrounded by pastel balloons, to posing proudly with them as young boys in a formal studio portrait, the photos paint a picture of a devoted mother, sister, and radiant soul.

One especially touching image shows the two sisters cheek to cheek, both glowing with joy โ€” a frozen moment of closeness that now carries immeasurable weight.

“If I had known our time together would be this short, I would’ve held you tighter and never let go,” Saavedra’s sister wrote, lamenting the final phone call she wished had lasted longer. Her words reflected not only a sibling bond but a profound soul connection โ€” “You were more than my sister [sic] you were my best friend, my soulmate in this life.”

Throughout the post, she remembered Saavedra’s boundless generosity, describing her as a woman who “always made time to worry about me, even when you were carrying your own silent pain.” She also honored Saavedra’s ability to “light up a room” with her smile and her presence, which she called “magnetic.”

But it is the heartbreak of her absence โ€” especially with one of her sons’ recent graduation โ€” that adds a particularly gut-wrenching layer. “He misses you so much. All the boys do. And I promise you I’ll look after them.”

The tribute ended on a note as tender as it was devastating. “You’ll always be with me, Monica,” her sister vowed. “You’ll live on in my heart, in your sons, in every memory we made together. I’ll carry your love, your strength, and your light for the rest of my life. I love you so much it hurts. Until we meet again, my beautiful sister. ๐Ÿค.”

Just days after her sister’s death, Saavedra’s younger sibling turned to Instagram once more โ€” this time to celebrate a bittersweet milestone that the late TV personality, heartbreakingly, did not live to see. One of Saavedra’s two sons graduated as part of the Class of 2025.

And while the occasion should have been marked by a proud mother’s cheers, it instead unfolded under the heavy shadow of grief โ€” and deep, unwavering love.

In one Instagram Story, the camera pans over a crowded graduation ceremony from the stands, and then zooms in on a bouquet of white roses, a small photo of Saavedra, and a teddy bear in a graduation cap.

Another post captures the new graduate, smiling softly in his gown while holding gifts and celebratory trinkets, after the ceremony.

Before the graduation fanfare, the Saavedra family launched a GoFundMe campaign. The fundraiser serves not only to ease the burden of funeral and memorial expenses but also as a tribute to the woman they dubbed having a “generous heart, warm spirit, and unforgettable charisma.”

The page remembers Saavedra as someone who offered help without ever expecting anything in return โ€” the kind of compassion, they noted, that left a lasting imprint on all who crossed her path.

The campaign, which aims to raise $20,000, has garnered over $6,000 thus far. Saavedra’s family expressed deep gratitude for every donation and message of support, promising to share details about Saavedra’s memorial service as soon as plans are finalized. “We would like to provide her with the farewell she so deeply deserves,” they stated.

According to the GoFundMe page, in addition to leaving behind her two sons, Saavedra is also survived by her two sisters, brother, and mother.

At this time, we wish to extend our most heartfelt condolences to the late reality star’s sons, her mother, sisters, brother, other loved ones, friends, colleagues, community, and all who knew and loved her, as they mourn such a significant loss. We hope for their healing amid their time of grief. RIP, dear Saavedra.
